Humanity

A remembering.

Humanity

They taught you
that being human
began with I
and ended with
them against you.

A lesson carved by fear.
Passed down like inheritance.

A hurt so deep
it fractured

your remembering.

Being human
never meant

standing alone.

It means we
are stronger
standing together.

you.
them.
and I.

Not winners and losers.
Not borders and binaries.

Just tender souls
aching for

the same things.

To be
seen.
heard.
loved.
safe.

That’s humanity.
We remember
when we stop
believing the story
they sold us.
